Facebook, Zoom, Google, Twitter, even TikTok.

These are just some of the plethora of social media apps that we don’t go a single day without hearing about them. It has not only become vital for businesses to grow, but it also became a necessity in this day and age, especially more so since the transformation into the new normal. While it is such an opportunity-grabber and not jumping on the social media bandwagon might mean losing out big time, have we become enslaved by its binding negative influence as well?

We cannot deny that almost all of us have been bitten by the social media bug. Maybe once too often, but the problem isn’t that in itself. But do you realize that sometimes, our eyes are spending a little too much time looking at a screen than what is actually in front of us?

It is, at the end of the day, a double-edged sword.
